Generally there have hanging plating and rolling plating. Firstly, both plating object handing way are different, like hanging electroplating handles items individually, while rolling electroplating treats parts in batches. Secondly, the final surface finish are different. Hanging finish can achieve shiny and smooth surface, but rolling finish have rough and scratched surface and vintage look.

Our premium hooks are primarily crafted from high-density zinc alloy (ZA-27) or solid brass, chosen for their optimal balance of strength, weight, and machining quality. They are finished with durable electroplating. Each hook is designed and tested for safety; our standard hooks have a minimum breaking strength of 50+ lbs (23+ kg), far exceeding the demands of everyday use. Specific load ratings are available upon request for custom designs.
2. How do I attach the hook to my bag strap?Attachment is straightforward.
The strap end is typically folded and sewn (or riveted) to create a loop. This loop is then passed through the larger opening of the hook. The hook's spring-loaded gate or clasp is then opened to attach it to the bag's D-ring or other anchor point. We recommend professional assembly for the cleanest and most secure result.
3. Will the metal finish tarnish, rub off, or cause skin discoloration?
No, not with our quality hooks. We use a multi-layer plating process that includes a corrosion-resistant nickel undercoat and a top coat of genuine precious metal or advanced PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating. This makes the finish highly resistant to tarnishing, abrasion, and oxidation that can cause "green" skin discoloration, ensuring long-lasting beauty.
4. Can you customize the size, shape, and finish of the hooks?
Absolutely. We specialize in full customization. You can specify the exact dimensions, wire gauge, shape (e.g., oval, teardrop, rectangular), and mechanical function (spring gate, lobster clasp, etc.). We offer an extensive palette of plated finishes (polished gold, antique silver, matte black, gunmetal) and can even create unique branded shapes with a custom mold. 5. What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) and lead time for custom hooks?
For custom-designed hooks requiring a proprietary mold, our standard MOQ is 500 pieces. For adjustments to existing designs (like custom finishes or sizes), lower MOQs may be available. The typical lead time is 18-25 working days after final design and approval, which includes mold creation, sampling, and production. We always recommend ordering a physical prototype sample before proceeding with full production.
